I’ll be doing a full blog post on the prep and tips on how to plan one. I can’t recommend it enough if you’re looking for a new, fun brunch spot – or event space! I’m gearing up for my sister’s bachelorette party next month and getting so excited about all of the activities and goodie bags. We rented a room at Cecconi’s in Dumbo and had 20 of her friends and family gather for a beautiful afternoon! The food, service, weather, and decor was IMPECCABLE. I had the best weekend celebrating my sister at her bridal shower. I have a ton of their plaid shirts and always pair them with my Cuyana sweatpants on the weekends. A few other button downs I have my eye on are this one, this one and this one. I love a classic button down and tying it at the waist completely changes the vibe. I tied this blue and white stripe button down up to make the look more playful and less corporate.
It’s sadly sold out, but this one and this one are almost identical and super reasonable.
I love the subtle button details down the side. It’s such a flattering item and can be paired with a button down like I did here, a sweater, a bodysuit, or a flowy silk blouse. I bought this white pencil skirt a few months ago and it’s quickly become my go-to piece when I need to throw on something for a meeting, formal brunch or event.
